I am ready to book my cruise on the Paradise. Does anyone know any good travel agents or websites to use?
Thanks

I like using a local TA. You can check with your local BBB to find out of any problems and how long they have been around.

My mom and dad own a travel agency. It is called Uniglobe Herndon Sterling Travel. My mom actually has her cruise certification, and has been on plenty of cruises to get that. They are actually taking our family on the Triumph on the Nov 10 sailing. This will be my 5 Carnival cruise. She loves to book crusies and knows pretty much everything about them. If you would like the phone number and her name let me know. They do have an 800 number so it would not be long distance for you. Where are you from anyway?

I went on the Paradise in May of 99 for my honeymoon and it was awesome. It was my husbands first cruise and he loved it. Because the ship was smoke-free made all of the difference. After you go your first time you will be hooked. You will definitely enjoy yourself.

Thanks,
Pam

Peaches;

1-800 number is a toll free number to call. You can visit the Carnival website , they have a link of certified cruise specialists in your area. Or you can visit the CLIA web site and they also have links to local travel agents in your area. The Fascination is a wonderful cruise ship, enjoy your trip.

The number is 1-800-955-1874. My moms name is Clara Chambliss. She would be glad to help you out especially since your first time cruisers. Their agency is in Northern VA. Give her a call.

Peaches, look right here in our classifieds and talk with these people and then go with the one that you "connect" with.

The following individual advertises on CruiseMates. Good knowledge of cruising. Have used her a number of times. Her web site gives information about her and the toll free number. I believe you will like her.

Hi Peaches,
You may want to post in the bargain finder for the cruise you're thinking about:

<http://www.cruisemates.com/findcruise/index.cfm>

Once you fill in all the important information, travel agents will e-mail you their best price on that cruise, its really no hassle. Once you get some prices, you can then decide who you want to book with. Hope you have some good luck and find what you are looking for, happy cruising.

My wife is a travel agent and loves to book cruises. She has been in this business several years and the agency she is affiliated with has been in business for over 14 years. They are a store front travel agency, not a booking engine or order takers. She dedicates herself to giving excellent travel service. Ticket delivery is free and she does not charge any fee's. Her agency is a member of CLIA and ASTA and is endorced by IATAN. An acquantance of mine used her to book his honeymoon on the Paradise. He really enjoyed the cruise and plans to book with her next year. He referred a friend to her that is planning a June honeymoon and he booked with her as well. That friend also requested the Paradise. I'm sure she will be thrilled to give you a quote and hopefully gain a valued client. Send me an email and I will provide her name and information. I prefer not to post her information as she has gotten some "spam" email in her business email box.

You can do much better getting your airline tickets yourself we just did and saved quite a bit. Then for $26 you can purchase what they call a transfer form Carnival which means they will pick you up at the airport take your bags and get you to the ship. Then when you return to port after your trip they will get you to the airport.
Good Luck
