Default Cozumel question

I'm looking for comments on the shore tour Marine Park Unlimited Snorkeling in Coz. It has been recommended as a good choice for beginning snorkelers and non-swimming snorkelers. I will appreciate anyone's first hand experience.

Default Re: Cozumel question

Julie, My husband, who doesn't swim, my 14 year old son, and I went on the tour last August. They had good guides, attentive, and watchful, espically over the children and non-swimmers. To get into the water you step down a few stone steps into the water, and onto sand bags placed over the coral to protect you'r feet. This water level is about up to adult knees. There is also a short pier you can snorkel off of. There are lots of fish at knee level! This area is also roped off somewhat. There is one guide that stays at the step area, and when we were there we had at least 3 guides out with us, also a photographer. We got a great photo. There is also a mid sized beach area with tables and shade, a snack bar, and restroom, and gift shop. I would have felt perfectly safe taking younger children to this park. Hope this helps, have fun!
