Keywest for families?

On our Dec. cruise, the ship is making a five hour stop in Key West. The whole family is planning to get off the ship. Can someone please give me a few ideas of family friendly places to visit. Ages 8 adults 25-76, and 2 kids 6 & 8.
Anything will be helpful.

The trolley tour is pretty good.

I would highly recommend a visit to the Hemingway house. Great history about the writer, and it's fun, too, especially if you like cats.

There are a number of polydactyl (multi-clawed) cats living on the premises.

I love cats! I have 5 of my own. the family may not want to visit this, but I am with or without them. Thanks!!!!!

Keywest is a very laid back place for great shopping and tours. Not much to do. If you go to the beach, the trolley will drop you off and you have to walk 3/4 of a mile down to a not so nice beach. (not worth the walk). Just enjoy the city. Take your time getting off the ship. Most of the stores don't open until 10am or 11am.
