How does S&S card work if you have to switch r

My husband and I are travelling on the Destiny with our two teenagers. Our cabins are about 5 doors apart so our travel agent said we needed to book each room with one adult/one kid. We plan, of course to really have the kids in their own room. My question is: If I am really booked into my kids' room and issued a key for that room, how do I get a key to my REAL room?

It's simple. At check in u inform them u'll need a key to both cabins. Handy to have anyway to check in on the kids.
No problem.. we do this all the time when cruising with our boys.
