If we are putting cash down instead of a credit card how much will w need to put down ??

Hi Rae,
I think that all depends on how much you plan to spend, short excersions, onboard purchases, drinks. Just a rough estimate, I'd figure around $100 per day, more or less from there depending on your cruise spending habits. You can also from time to time check out where you are on your charges. When on Explorer of the Seas this year, you could look at your account right from your cabin TV. What ship are you cruising on and how many days?

The amount is basically up to you but I would think a minimum of $200 would or should be required. Just remember that when you reach your limit, you will abruptly have your card refused so the more you put down the better off you might be. You will get it all back at the end of the cruse anyway.

Rae, you put as much down as you want. You can always add more to it later if needed.

FYI: Between shore excursions, pictures, gift shop purchases, etc. we spent almost $900.00!!!
