My group of 39 had the window tables for 8 in the Imagination dining room. I had requested that my groups tables be the 3rd,4th, 5th and 6th from the galley doors. These tables had excellent wait staff (I do believe the waiters with senority get the tables closer to the galley for convenience) On other cruises I have prefered the round tables for 10 as you can converse with eveyone easier. If you want specific table numbers eme and I'll look back in by photo book for the details.

Renee ..... thanks for your input. Would be interested in learning the specific tables numbers . Being close to galley doors, was it noisy due to heavier traffic and handling of dishes etc. ?
Any other hints you can give me re taking a group ? This is my first group with Carnival. Was your cruise to Mexican Riviera ?

Tom, I tried to respond to you but it was returned mail.
Yes we were on the Elation to the Mexican Riviera. My particular table was 219 ( it was the 5th from galley doors) with waiter Ernesto and bus boy Cornelus both very good and funny. The other tables had equally great wait staff. I didn't notice any excess noise at our location, we even carried on conversations with our other tables. Maybe your TA can request the scamatic (sp) for the dining room with table numbers from Carnival. Also ask the TA if you can be included in a "shared cocktail party" if its available as an ammenity. Anything else just eme with your email address.
