I have sailed on two previous Carnival ships. I am curious about the Destiny. I will be sailing on 11/4:
How is the cruise director?? funny? Lame?
What shore excursions do you recommend?

Arthur: Saw your post. We are also on the Destiny 10/7. Up until now I could only find one other person (on the aol cruisecritic message boards). What kind of tours/excursions are you going to do? We generally like to do our own thing - don't like cruiseship tours. Keep in touch

San Juan is awsome. if you can spend some extra time in that port, Do!
The Rain forest is breathtaking and the rum factory is a must. Be sure to wear comforable walking shoes.
Save your spending money for the camera stores and Jewelry stores in St. Thomas. Never settle for their first price.
Coki beach is the best for experiencing a little of everything(beach,snorkel,jet ski rentals) at your own pace.
Aruba is better for the Sumarine excursion.
