Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. The food was good in both places. We ate breakfast and lunch at the grill every morning because you could go whenever you wanted. We ate in the dining room at night. We asked for the late seating so our meal time was 8:30pm. You have plenty of time for the shows but need to go right after dinner if you want a good seat.
There are so many fun things to do in New Orleans. Everything you want to do is in walking distance. The river walk mall is wonderful. Everything is New Orleans style. A visit to new Orleans is not complete without a eating Beignets at Cafe Du Monde. If your looking for a bargain, just go to the french market or watch some artists on the streets paint for you. All you have to do to find all of this is walk. Everything is right there together.
