Default Blue Lagoon?

Hello, my husband and I will be traveling on the Fantasy on 10/14. We have heard mixed feelings on Blue Lagoon, some good, some bad. Some people have warned of long waits and large crowds. We were considering either snorkeling with the sting rays, or taking the Yellow bird party boat tour. Anybody sailed with Carnival to the Bahamas before, if so what do you recommend? We are just looking for some fun in the sun!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Kristin,

We went last year on the Fantasy and had a wonderful time. We swam with the stingrays which also happen to be at blue lagoon. The dolphins are there also.

I would do the blue lagoon thing again, BUT,,,,if you go there it eats up the whole day and we didn't get to go downtown Nassua and we didn't have time to go to see Atlantis either.

Besides the rays and dolphins, blue lagoon also has food stands, a cute bar, and hammocks strung between trees where you can just relax. It was very nice

Don't miss the Atlantis hotel & casino on Paradise Island Kristin. You can catch a little transport boat over to Paradise Island for a couple of bucks. You won't be able to miss the boat because a couple of guys will be yelling for you to get on. Only problem is, they try to fill the boat before taking off for the island. This can take quite some time. It may be beter to get with a few other folks who are going over & share the cab fare. We really enjoyed the shops inside the Atlatis. There are also beautiful "man made" waterfalls in the back of the hotel, heading towards the beach. I think you'll also like the shops on the island. Paradise Island & the Atlantis was our favorite in Nassua. The Fantasy is really a fun ship. Enjoy!

Thanks guys! With such a short cruise, I want to make sure we make the right decisions as far as tours are concerned. Back in February, we went on the 3 day Majesty of the Seas, and spent the day at Atlantis. It is quite a site to see, absolutely amazing. I would love to stay there one day, but cruising is just my thing, and besides cruising is much more economical anyway. So with that said, I think we will try to see Blue Lagoon, I just wanted to make sure that it would be worth it.

Thanks again, Happy cruising!
