Passport?

Do I need a passport to go to the Western Carribbean? I'm going to Grand Cayman, Cozumel and New Orleans.... all I have is an expired passport.... will that work?

you ask " will an expired passport work"? Are you serious? Does an expired drivers license "work"? Yes you need a passport or Birth Cerificate (not expired)...only US citizens can use the birth Certificate in lieu of passport.....funny post lol

How long has the passport been expired? Some places that only require a birth cert. and photo ID will accept an expired passport of 5 years or less. Check with your TA on this question. My passport will expire in Feb. and I have a Western Caribbean cruise scheduled for April, but plan on getting it renewed before I go.

I would get your passport renewed the first chance you get. They are by far the best means of identification. An expired passport may be good enough ID for the western as it does have your photo and other pertintant information. Just in case I would also bring your DL or other form of photo ID and your birth certificate. Mostly the ID will be used to show that you are in fact a US Citizen.

Get your passport renewed if you have the time, if not, you as others have said will need your birthcertificate. Are you going on the Sensation, those ports sound like the same circuit I am doing on the Sensation in December.
