Default Debarking in Playa

I'm going on the Jubilee's New Year's cruise and was wondering if I can get off the ship in Playa Del Carmen even though I don't want to take a shore excursion. I'd like to take my son to Xcaret and it would be easier debarking in Playa instead of Cozumel and having to take the ferry back across.

No, only those holding ships excursions tickets will be allowed to disembark on the tender. If you wish to visit the mainland you will have to take the ferry from Cozumel to PdC which you will have to board in town.
