Default soft drinks

What is the best way to smuggle soft drinks aboard. We buy the drink cards for the kids. But, we want some drinks for the room. Do you bring it in the carry on
or checked baggage? How do you pack it in the checked luggage so there is no
mess? We leave Dec. 16 on the Paradise. Can't wait.

Steve,
I bring along an empty sports bag... then in port city pick up my Caff free diet cokes, put them in the sports back and check it with the luggage at the pier.
Saves me dragging them onboard.
Bringing sodas and water onboard is not a problem.. so it's not smuggling. If u want u can carry them on openly.

Regards,
Kuki

I don't think that you have to smuggle them aboard. We bought soda at our first port (on our cruise in Jan.) and carried it back on the ship. It went through the scanner and nothing was said. They also have adult soda cards ($30.00 for a 7 day maybe).

Others who have cruised since 9/11 said that the size of your carry-on has been lowered (basically same size for the airplane) so carry-on space might be at a premium.

For the first time since I've been crusing Carnival they now offer a fountain fun card for adults. Only $29.95 for the week and what a great bargain it turned out to be! We had no problem smuggling alcohol aboard at embarkation and at various ports and I was able to mix plenty of cocktails all week long... at dinner, up on deck, in the room, etc.... If you want more info, please feel free to e-mail me directly.... I don't think I should be posting these subversive ideas for all to see
