elation LA noon flight

My husband and I are going on the Elation in Jan.
I booked a noon return flight and am wondering with all the new check in times
if we will be able to make it.
What time were you off the ship and how long did it take to get to the
airport.

Hi, I have a 12:30 return flight from Orlando after my Pride cruise in Jan. from Pt. Canaveral. Some people on the boards are saying that time is cutting it 'too close' but my TA, Carnival & the airline say I will be OK? I am sticking with the advise of the travel people. Just get a priority disembarkation tag to be the first group off the ship once you dock. As long as factors that are out of our control such as traffic, weather, etc. don't interfere there shouldn't be a problem making the flight. Now LA? I never sailed from LA so I don't know the distance from the port to airport...call Carnival direct and ask what they suggest as far as booking the earliest return flights. In my case any flights booked after 12 noon were ok. Good Luck and enjoy your cruise! I will worry about the flight home after I enjoy my cruise!
