just thought i would let you know i joined the carnival pride yesterday. -2c over here in helsinki, finland. very very cold. there is 1inch of snow out on lide deck. you really have to see it to beleive it.
the ship is looking really good. a few things let to do though. all being well we will set sail early on the 12th december for sunny Miami.
I hope everyone is looking forward to cruising onboard her.
this is so cool - actually having someone knowing firsthand how ships are being transported and all ... me, my husband, daughter & son-in-law will be going on the pride march 23 to the easter carib --- I AM SO EXCITED !!! we all are actually ! please take care of her, treat her gently, and enjoy enjoy enjoy !!!
Glad to here the ship is coming along so well. We have a group of 32 sailing ont he Pride to the Western Carb. in April. We are from Maine and when April rolls around we will be ready to leave the snow behind. Take care of the ship and have a safe trip bringing it to the U.S.
Thanks so much for your post. We are sailing on the Pride on January 12th. I would love to see what the deck of a cruise ship looks like with snow on it!! Also, thanks for letting us know when you were setting sail for Miami. I've been wondering that for sometime now! Have a great time on her. I can't wait to board her on January 12th!!!!

WELL IAM STILL HERE. FINISHED WORK EARLY TODAY. HEADED INTO TOWN. 3.30PM AND PITCH BLACK OUT SIDE. I THINK IT IS FROM BEING SO FAR NORTH.
NO SNOW FOR THE PASSED 2 DAYS. EXPECTING SOME TOMMOROW. I AM HOPING TO GET SOME DIGITAL CAMERA SHOTS, BUT CARN,T POST THEM. SORRY.
WE ARRIVE IN TO MIAMI ON THE 27TH, THE EXACT TIME IAM NOT SURE. WE SAIL NOW ON THE 13TH DEC AT 6AM. NOT SURE IF I WILL BE OUT THAT EARLY TO SEE HER OFF THOUGH.
BTW ITS THE 500TH SHIP FOR MASA-YARD. QUITE A MILESTONE.

well only 2 days and we are off. we are getting excited on board as well now. i work in the shops on board, and there all but finished
the biggest part of the crew came today and yesterday, feel invaded really. went from 200 crew to almost 1100 over night. well over 3 days. thay are running a lot of training programs on the way over.
we have 3 sea days to england, then 9 seaday from england to miami.
well off to dinner, its great where we are docked only 5 minutes by bus right into downtown helsinki.
