Default Iron on board?

We leave tomorrow morning for our curise on the carnival celebration and was wondering if there will be an iron in the cabin? I don't want to take one if I don't need to.

Thanks,
Teresa

There is no iron in the cabin. Each deck has a laundry room with an iron in it. Carnival discourages irons in cabins.

There are not irons in each room, but each floor does have a iron you can use. I will be cruising in April and purchased a travel iron to take with me. Sometimes the one on the floor has been checked out, and I don't like having to wait.
Have a great cruise and let us know all about it when you return!

I've been cruising since I was a teenager. I took my own iron and still do. I used to put all of my clothes into my suitcase and iron as I wore until we sailed on the Seawind Crown. Didn't know that I needed a convertor. Luckily a waiter let me borrow his. Since that time I started ironing as I packed. Have fun on your cruise.

none. One only need a convertor when using direct current. Europe uses direct current. Carnival ships don't use direct current.

If you needed to iron your clothes while you're on a cruise instead of going to the laundry room.
