They worked great!!! We were just on the Pride on January 12th. My husband, myself and our 14-year old son sailed with friends of ours. We took the Motorola Talkabout FR60 radios and they worked great. We were careful to leave the volume turned down so we wouldn't bother the other passengers. At one point, we were in the Butterflies Lounge which is on deck 1 at the very front of the ship. We called our son, and he was in the Mermaid Grille, which is on one of the top decks at the back of the ship, and we heard each other just fine. We were docked in St. Thomas, and while we were sitting on the balcony of our cabin, we called for our friends on the radio to see when they would be back on the ship, and they were at the top of the mountain, 700' above sea level, and again, we could hear each other just fine!
