Sailed on the Inspiration 2/17. Our 1st cruise and we loved it. Service was excellent both by the room steward and out Head waiter. Seas were a little rough on Mon. & Tues. and WINDY. Food was great, but some could have been warmer. They have changed the times for the ports of call, so you get more time at each. We found that by the time we did our excursions and shopping it was plenty of time. The cruise director is great and gave excellent talks on each port. Friday at Cozumel we got hit by a storm front-14ft seas all through the night.
Great cruise we go again in a minute.
The food was fantastic, the service was wonderful. The ship was spotless the entertainment was great.
This was by far the best vacation we have ever been on. The shore excursions were very entertaining and reasonably priced for what you get. We did a snorkeling tour in each port and they were all three great. Of the three the sting rays in Grand Cayman was the best. This is a must do for anyone on this cruise. Anyone would love it and the water is so clear you can see 100 to 150 feet under water. The water at the sand bar is only 4 to 6 feet deep and under water you can see forever.
I also liked the tipping arrangements. They were added to the sign and sail cards and that was all out of the way and we did not need to worry about it.
We did have an exceptional waiter and we did give him some extra the last night. I handed it to him and shook his hand and told him he had done a great job.
The picture taking was great and they did not hound you as some of the people have said.
The casino was good to me (I won $300 playing Blackjack), but the people were all great.
The bar and grill I believe it was called the Brassiea was fantastic. We ate there for breakfast each morning as we were usually up before the dinning room was open. Whoa and the pizza too good for words and all night long.
The staff was at our beck and call at any time of the day or night and they busted their butts to see that we were taken care of, WOW what a crew.
The shows were great and I would recommend that you try to see them all, but sometimes you get to the point you need a rest, so much going on all the time.
All in all it was the best time we have had in a long time.
Would I do it again????
Is tomorrow soon enough?
I am planning a trip so we can take our Three children and their two boys each. I am thinking around Oct sometime.
We will be there!!!!! I can't wait. Less than a month to go. Hubby ans I are in our 30's, and I will be celebrating my birthday while on board. Can't wait to meet all the people I have met here, and on other boards. We are from Alabama.
Myself and my fiance will be on the 4/28 sailing. We will be on our honeymoon and the 28th is my birthday. I think i've ready every review on every website about this cruise. I cant wait. Will be spending a couple of days in the big easy when we get back. The price was reduced for the cruise, called my TA and got an upgrade from a 5A to a 6B. Still have a chance to be upgraded from there but wont hold my breath. Hope you all have a good time.
