Default Bringing wine on board

Hi: Just got our cruise documents and I notice that bringing liquor on board is prohibited. Is wine considered as liquor??? Does anyone have a recent experience where they were able to bring wine on board? Did you put it your carry ons or pack it in your luggage. Would like a nice galss of wine in our room before dinner and before nite, nite Thanks. Bob

You're allowed a bottle of wine or champagne per person (for special occasions). Sailing to me is a special occasion, don't you think? We bring ours in our carryons.

I was able to bring 6 bottles aboard the Facination in February. They just checked to make sure it was wine. I brought a bottle to dinner each night and was never charged the cork fee.Ou cabin steward even kept our whites on ice in our stateroom:-)

Jenn,

Was the beer in your checked luggage or did you carry it on?

You must pack it on your checked luggage. They will not allow you to carry it on...they will confiscate it.
