How far in advance can I make reservations for David's restaurant on the PRIDE? Our group is sailing on 6/8/02. Also, how would I go about making the reservations ahead of time?
Thanks!
Donna
You can't make the reservations until you get on the ship. But I recommend you go dump your stuff in your cabin and then go straight up to David's to make the reservation. We tried to make ours after first seating dinner on embarkation day, and the whole week was already booked!

you can make reservations right after getting onboard, in the passed few weeks, the resturant hasnt bewen full. the place seats about 70, but most nights wont get passed 40. so you wont have a worry getting a table.
rememeber the full dinner takes about 2 1/2 hours. so go for about 7pm seating, so you can come out and make the late shows. remember its 7 courses. so dont eat during the day !!
32 of Us where on the Pride 3/30/02 and we all ate at David's. Here's the deal:
1. As soon as you get on board book it at the Pursor's desk or
David's.
2. Price is $25.00 p/p PLUS tip.
3. It was one of my BEST dining experiences.
4. The Lobster Tail IS NOT MAINE LOBSTER as The Menu
says and the Staff. I am from New England and told them
they really should remove the "Maine" from the lobster. It
Caribbean Lobster which is very good.
5. Wear comfortable nice clothing as you will be VERY full after
dinner.
I know you can have one serving of the same dish. But if I don't like any of the salads and desserts (due to health reason), can I have two different appertizers? Thanks.
Oops, I mean can have only one serving, unlike in the regular dining room where you can have two lobster tails, (but I guess one will be full even with one lobster tail there)...
Just returned on 4/20/02. You can skip any course at David's and still leave stuffed. I made reservations as soon as I was on the ship, but went on the first formal night and there were few there. The waiter said it was usually pretty busy except on the formal nights. $25.00 per person,$29.00 for the caviar.
