Default Formal wear rental--Pride

Is there anyone out there that has rented a tux on board for the formal nights ? And if so how do they look and what is the approximate cost? My hubby is debating what to wear and was thinking he he just rent one on board to save the lugging of it across country. Do they have enough?

Thanks for the advice!

Hi "The Brewers",
You should get all the tux rental information in your docs and can pre-order the rental tux, usually around $100 dollars for the whole set and it usually includes 2 shirts. Recently my husband bought his own tux at a warehouse sale, got a great deal, they sold both used and new tux's, so you may want to keep an eye out for one of those type sales. Unfortunately, then your husband will have to pack/lug it with him, but they actually pay for themselves with just a few rentals, so if you think you have use for a tux and or more cruises in the future, its definitely something to think about.

Enjoy your Pride cruise

We've been on two cruises (third booked for 6/29 on the Pride) and both times my husband has rented a tux. Last summer we went with my husband's best friend and his family. The guys rented the black/white combo. This is a black tux, two shirts, and a white dinner jacket. On formal night the guys wore their black tux outfits and on the second formal night they wore the white dinner jacket. I packed a black dress for myself and our daughter was in a white dress. We made it a black/white night all around.

My husband is 6'4" and as long as you call at least a week before the ship sails and order the correct size, it will be available. It will either be delivered to your room or sometimes your cabin steward will pick it up and return it for you. One less thing to pack and unpack.

We enjoy dressing up for these nights at sea. Kind of gives one a regal feeling -- after all -- isn't that what a vacation is about??? Have a good one
