Best beech to hang out in St. Maarten

Also looking for a good beech to hang out in St. Maarten. Some people have told me to go to Orient Beech. Looking for food and drinks and sand.

Orient Beach is the place then IMHO. Just be aware that almost everywhere topless is common and on the far end total nudity is the norm and the folks there are not the ones you wish to see nude! Really, Orient Beach has some really great places to eat and drink and hang out and the beach is great. As far as the topless part goes, it isn't a big deal nor should it be and few really care.

We liked Dawn Beach. Great restaurant-Mr. Busby's and beautiful beach.
If you go, say hi to Elvin. Great Carib beer for $.75 (it's $1.50 everywhere else).

Dawn Beach isn't topless, just a really nice beach.

The best beach is between the Maho Beach Resort and the Mullet Bay resort on the French side. - Is it Mullet Bay? Anyway awesome water - not alot of tide and a GREEEAT BEACH!!! Close to Maho Beach Resort is Cheries (spelling) good food and even better drinks! A little bit of shopping too.
