Default Hidden charges

I am going on a cruise on 7/6 on the Pride. I was wondering what hidden charges come a long with this ship. I know about tips and drink prices. I was also wondering if there were any special drink prices while on the ship.

They usually have a "special" drink of the day and if my memory serves, it goes for $3.50 plus the 15% gratuity.

Heya

I just got off the pride last week and I wouldn't say any charges were hidden. The drink of the day is steep ($6.95) but you get to keep the cup. $68 and change per person was added to the Sail & Sign card on the first day to cover the tips for the week. I thought they were actually really careful about not adding misc charges for the fridge stuff and towels - before adding any charges the cabin stewart always asked about were the stuff was, was it eaten or moved, etc. No hidden charges, but we still got that account up to $800 for 2 of us, but that was with ship shopping, excusions, the whole bit. I won't complain

There is a lovely Piazza Cafe that serves Capaccino, Espresso, Sundaes and fancy pastries for a fee. Obviously you are aware that photo purchases, spa treatments & products cost extra as does laundry service (which I found reasonable). Keep your souvenir glass and rinse it out and use it daily on deck for the drink of the day; $4.95 for a refill vs. $6.95 for another glass! Bottled water, soda, too are extra.

If you are interested in playing Bingo before the nightly shows you will need cash to do so. This charge is not hidden but if you want to play you will need to bring cash and thought I'd give you a heads up before you leave. Have fun!

Just be careful of any "gifts" in your room. On our
first cruise, disposable cameras were left on
my kids beds. They immediately tore them
open and it cost me $20. Also, the bottled
water in your room runs $3-$4.
