What to do in Port Canaveral, FL?

I am planning a cruise that leaves from Port Canaveral, FL and we are going to be arriving a day early. Does anyone know if there is anything worth while at Port Canaveral? Any type of tours? Thanks for your input!!!

Go to Kennedy Space Center. It is really neat! They have lots of stuff that will interest all age groups. Make sure to take in the IMAX movie there, it is really good. Otherwise there is nothing but beach in the area. Daytona Beach is about an hour north of Cape Canaveral, and they have the Daytona USA attraction at the race track if you are NASCAR fans.

Hi Jeff,
We took the kids to Kennedy space center once before a cruise, very interesting, something to think about, especially if there is a launch in the near future.

we are also arriving a day early in Port Canaveral. That's so we can party in Coco Beach right next door! Only 201 more days!!!

Plan on half a day at the Kennedy Space Center. If you want, go to Daytona Beach about an hour north and hang out on the beach.
