obstructed view w/ french doors

In the rooms that are described as having an obstructed view w/ french doors, the doors open to the deck, right? Has anyone had one of these rooms? If so, would you get one again?
Thanks in advance.

Re: obstructed view w/ french doors

Marji,
No, what the 'French Doors' do is just open to a railing. There is no deck there. Basically it is a way to have floor to ceiling windows that open and allow the fresh ocean air nothing more. On lower decks this is obviously just not possible and on the upper decks they are usually balconies but because of the lifeboats balconies are not possible. You will not get a complete view of the ocean because of these lifeboats but half of these cabins have a pretty decent partial view between the boats.
