b & b in vancouver makes good on botched reservaton
back in january i made a reservation at the west end guest house for the nite prior to our zaandam sailing.
today i wrote to reconfirm and the b & b acknowledged booking the reservation on the wrong date and there, are of course, no other rooms available. the innkeeper offered us a complementary
reservation at a nearby hotel for the nite as well as an offer to join him for the breakfast on sunday.
i had to take a moment to post this because we have all run into various problems that are met with callous indifference and with no offer of resolution

It is very refreshing to know that there are still small business people who are willing to take responsibility for their mistakes. After all, it is only human nature to make mistakes. It is how one attones for those mistakes that truly makes them a better person.
It would be nice if you would post the name of this B&B so that anyone else needing a place to stay in Vancouver would at least give it some thought.
Now if we could only get some the big corporations to have this customer 1st attitude !
