cabin choice

I'm booked on the Carnival Conquest for Jan.19, 2003 in balcony catagory 9a on the Empress deck. Has anyone had a catagory 9a? It is for our 40th wedding aniversary.Was wondering if it is worth the extra money? c.w.

We had a 9A cabin on the Triumph and loved it! I'm not sure if the 9As on the Triumph will be comparable to those on the Conquest, but our cabin was great. I don't think the particular cabin we had was any larger then the category 8, (and it was an odd shape...however, the "normal shaped" 9A cabins were larger, but the balconies smaller) but the wrap around balcony was huge!!
