Just got through looking at the Carnival web site
under the gifts section and had a couple of questions
concerning the Drink coupons that you can purchase.
First, what drinks are they good towards? And second,
do they include the gratutity, or is it added to your
Sign & Sail card?
From what I understand the drink coupon is about $20 and includes only sodas...so if you are a big soda drinker this is worth your while. It does not include alcoholic beverages, which are separate. Carnival will add on 9.50/day per person on your sign and sail card for ALL gratuities unless you go the purser's desk and request separate tipping or you can just tip as you wish in addition. Junior soda cards for children are about $10 a piece from what I have read. Hope this helps.
There are two different kinds of drink coupons: bar credit and soft drink credit.
Click on View Item and it says they're good for one drink not exceeding $3.75, I think, the picture's tiny.
Small print says: Prices for Wine, Bar Credits and Soda Credits are inclusive of Gratuity and Delivery fees. Taxes and Prices may vary according to Port of Embarkation. Prices are subject to change without notice.

I have used the drink coupons on the Sensation. You get 4coupons for 20 bucks. Most of the bars allow any frozn drink but not the drinkin the special keepsake glasses. The price includes the gratuity. There is not a great deal to be saved here. What the coupons allow is a smaller sign and sail bill at the end of the week. Coupons help you too stay within budget.
You can only get the coupons before you cruise and not within 2 weeks ofy our sailing date. If you order them they will be given to you the first night at dinner
They also have phot coupons...which are like a gift certificate. They are 15bucks. And can be used like a gift certificate. If your photos come to 20 bucks...15 is already paid for. Another budget consious idea.
