Default late fall gulf of mx cruise

I'll be on a late fall cruise Dec 2 over
the gulf of mexico. Has anyone been on
a cruise in this area during that time of
year. I'm worried about how cold it might
be on the Lido deck.

Are you going to Mexico or Belize via the Gulf of Mexico? The weather will still be warm in December.

Last Dec, my family and I went to Mexico via the Gulf of Mexico and it was warm, 78-85 degrees, humidty was up and you could swim if you desired. I am from Florida and it does not really get cold here until January.

Not to worry, it will be plenty warm for swimming and sunbathing. Once you get down into the Caribbean there is really not much differant in the temps.

Default Thanks!

We'll be heading to Cozumel from Galveston, Texas. I was just curious, because I start
getting chilly below 77 deg F (from New Orleans) , and with the wind chill I might be a bit to cold.

I'll just pack a sweatshirt or two for the
cruise down. I figure when we hit about 25 North latitude, I'll be nice and comfortable!

It will be warm in the ports probably but Galveston could be chilly. It could be 30 degrees and it could be 70 degrees. It just depends - I've worn shorts on Christmas but then again I've had a heating blanket on the bed a couple of years - we are in Houston. Debbie
