Default December Weather West. Caribbean

My wife and I are going on our 1st cruise on the Paradise on Dec 1 to the Western Caribbean. What can we expect that time of year for weather, heat & humidity, temps during the day and evenings on the ship? I'm trying to figure out what clothing to pack (I know it's early but I'm READY!). Thanks.

Low 80's during the day. Humidity not too bad. Cool at night up on deck. Very nice weather at that time of year. We did the Western Caribbean Dec. 9th last year and loved it.

If youare snow bird like us then the weather would be great. Int he caribbean they consider weatehr int he 80`s to be their winter. Well for us up in Montrealthat`s summer. We are also taking a cruise but not until Feb. Feb is a good month for us when we get back the winter is starting to ease up. You will do fine inDec in the caribbean. The ony think is youmight want to take a light sweater the evening might get a little cooler then in the summer months. Have fun!

Thanks for replies. Suebecdan, I didn't think winter eased up in Montreal until June :-) We live in CT, so low 80s is my kind of weather. We've heard it can get a little cool at times on deck at night, but that's OK too. I just didn't want to look forward to weather like I saw in Singapore last year. I went twice for business and it was the same both times..temps i the 90s, dew points in the low 80s...nice place to visit, but way too hot and muggy for me to live there.

Compared to Montreal in December, the western Carribean is PARADISE!! You may only need a light sweater or shawl (ladies) for the AIR CONDITIONING, outside, it's lovely in the evenings. Have fun!
