I have a question. I just got back on the 29th from the Carnival Imagination cruise [amazing!] and I have a question. It was my family and I's first cruise and we loved every second of it. The crew was OUTSTANDING and we were wondering, if we took the same exact cruise sometime in the future, what are the chances of getting the same crew again? They kept mentioning that the crew is on the ship for 6,8,10 months at a time. But, if we should go back another time, are the chances slim that we'll get the same or somewhat the same crew again? Thanks so much!
I asked about this on my last cruise but it may be too late for you now. You can ask the head waiter or whoever for their employee number. I would explain why you want to know. With that number, you can call Carnival headquarters, give them that employee number and they can tell you what ship that person is working on. My head waiter last September was thrilled that I would like to cruise with him as part of my wait staff again and he gladly gave me his number.
I just cruised on the same ship in March and August and ran into a BUNCH of the same dining room staff but after several months the chance fo that really diminishes. Besides for their trips home, they do get rotated onto and off of ships at the end of each contract. Sometimes the shift is because they are outstanding and sometimes because they are having difficulties. The neat thing was, my Mom and I ended up at the Captain's table and I am sure it is because our head waiters recognized me from the March trip when I was with my wife. Happy cruisin, Robbie
