Dressing up on Halloween

Just a quick question for anyone that may know. Do people dress up on Carnival ships on Halloween? any sort of costume party? Just wondering because my wife and I will be sailing to Pride. Thanks for whatever info you can provide!!!

Yes, Some Do Dress up. As For A Party, They Have A Party On Lido Deck At Nite. Been On Last 2 Halloweens Cruise Ships. And YES WE WILL BE ON THE PRIDE . From Boston Oct 26.

I'll be there also. My sister and I are cruising this week also with people coming in from Canada. Will there be a costume contest?

I was on the Victory for Halloween last year and they REALLY put a lot more into decorating than I ever imagined they would. The whole ship was decorated and most crew seemed to be costumed. We never thought anything about bringing costumes, but a lot of people came prepared. So if you're into it, take costumes because there will almost certainly be an occasion for them.

Yes, lots of folks bring Halloween costumes for their cruise. I just finished making a Halloween outfit for my cruise on the Triumph. I was on the Fascination for Halloween in 1999. I took I costume; so did plenty of other people. There was a costume contest; decorations, etc. Some of the staff even dressed up. Last Halloween I was on one of Celebrity's ships for Halloween. Quite a few costumes there also, and a Halloween party on Lido deck.
