Default Spirit question and possible tip

I was looking at cabins for our Alaska cruise next year, and saw that 6232 and 6234 appear to have HUGE balconies. Of course, I snagged them both.

Does anyone know if it's for real? It looks incredible.

Man oh man, mega-balconies!

Still waiting for our guarantee balcony assignment for next Saturday. Think next step is the Kelly method.

Yes it is real. They have about 100SF of balcony space. There are six of them, 3 of which are marked/outfitted for the handicapped. They are located on in the same general position deck 6,7 & 8 on the Spirit, Pride and new Legend. I have one on the brand new Legend. There may be two acabins on deck 5 but the views are probably obstructed. If you like, ask your cabin steward to bring "lounge" chairs. Of course you may wish to reward that effort!

Thanks, Nana! What a snag.

Hey Harry, I did the Kelly method for my 11/25 cruise and found we got a 3 cat upgrade already!

Calnative02: The Kelly method is for people with 'guarantee' cabin assignments, meaning no room number at time of booking. They usually won't give it to you until boarding, but Kelly found a way to find out before.

Go to carnival.com under Guest Services, pick a Bon Voyage gift, enter your booking number and keep entering cabin numbers of your guarantee class and higher until you hit the right one. When you do, it will take you to the order confirmation screen, where you can just exit without ordering. Time-consuming for sure, but...

Worked for me!

Denise
