Default Fantasy question

Anyone who knows or is sailing before Nov. 5 and can find out - please -

I want to know if I can bring sparkling cider on board and if there would be a corking fee (there isn't really a cork) involved. We want to have it for our anniversary. Thanks in advance!

Hey stuff, yes you can bring sparkling cider and the "corking fee" refers to the fact that they will open the bottle and serve it to you and whomever. On our last cruise we brought a bottle of our favorite champagne to share with our tablemates and while we were told about the corking fee the waiter never did charge us for it so maybe you could get lucky also! Happy anniversary. BTW my birthday is on the 4th and we cruised Fantasy last year to celebrate it. It's a nice ship we really enjoyed our time on her.

Default Many thanks -

I called Carnival yesterday and was told it would be fine but yes, they would charge us the corking fee (unless we get lucky!) even though there isn't a cork in the bottle. We thought we might take our $4 bottle of sparkling cider and drink it in our room or out on deck somewhere - can we bring a drink from our room out on deck? I hadn't thought till jsut now that that might be a problem. Wonder if I should stick some glasses in my bag too? :-)

I don't think you can bring your drinks out of your cabin but they do have glasses on your room and an ice bucket too so leave yours at home. Granted it is just cider so maybe you can put it in a bag and bring your glasses and toast whereever you want?! Anyways, happy anniversary to you both!
