Category 11 or 12

I am certain this has been covered a zillion times, but I am just too darn lazy to go prodding back through old posts.

On Carnival, if you book a Category 11 or 12 are there any special "perks"? I seem to recall that your embarking and disbarking proceedures are different, is that true?

Thanks for answering this question for the zillionth and once time!

I'm not sure about Cat. 11 - but with Cat 12 you get "Skipper's Club" for embarkation. You will bypass the long line and be checked in much more quickly. They also called our category first for disembarkation at the close of the cruise. Can't think of any other perks that we had during the cruise. Janet.

Getting on is no big deal, but I would pay the extra money to get off first and avoid that wait. We had a Cat 11 suite on Ecsasy, and it was not what I expected for a suite, but it was nice having the balcony.

Recently sailed the Victory in a Cat 11 suite..Had priority check-in...Then waited in line with everyone else....It was every man for himself when they began to board the ship....The nice big cabin and balcony were great.....gave you a bathrobe to wear for the week.....No special treatment with debarkation.........this was our experience...hope it helped awnser your question....

Thanks for all the information. Someone mentioned that when I hand my bags to the porters I should ask to be directed to the Skippers Club. Wonder if it was given its name because of the nautical term "skipper" or because you get to "skip" the lines? (Just teasing)
