Complimentary Wine
When my TA found out that we were going on this cruise because of our Anniversary she said she would mention that to Carnival and they may place a bottle of wine in our room.
Does Carnival do this normally or is there a better chance we won't have a bottle in our room?

Re: Complimentary Wine
I never heard of Carnival doing this but our TA did this a couple of times already. Also I know Carnival will bring out a special cake for you one night at dinner if your TA makes them aware. Have a wonderful and romantic time. Stay happy and healthy. Marianne

Re: Complimentary Wine
depends on the ta, and what you paid for the trip i think, we went on the elation once and told the ta it was a trip for our anniverary, but on our anniverary and we got a basket with wine and champagne for one of the dinners, it was a nice treat not sure who footed the bill ,probably us through the ticket price, but it was a nice touch all the same
have a good trip no matterr what

Re: Complimentary Wine
You will get whatever is paid for. If your TA pays for a bottle of champaign,
it will be waiting in your cabin, just like ours was last weekend.

Re: Re: Complimentary Wine
No wine, cake only and a song. That's what Carnival gives you, now if your TA or someone else sends something for you then that is from someone who is paying for the item.

Re: Complimentary Wine
Last February we went on our 1st. Carnival cruise out of 11 cruises. My TA toured the ship, met with her New England sales rep and mentioned we were booked on this particular Pride sailing. Carnvial sent us a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries including a card, too. When we returned I wanted to thank her, thinking the items where sent at our TA's expense or request, as I know they often do have to pay for these perks. She assured me it was from Carnival who said they would send something and she was pleased that they followed through.
Bon Voyage

Re: Complimentary Wine
It's nice if they send it, but you don't want to drink it.
