Default Change Departure time 10PM

We just received our cruise documents and Carnival decided to change boarding time from 12:30 to 5 PM and departure from 5PM to 10 PM. We now miss the use of the ship for the afternoon , no gambling till midnight and I don't know what thier plans are for the dining room the day of departure. Is this common with them?

When I received my docs too today (for the Inspiration) I noticed the boarding time has moved from 12:30 to 1:30 but the departure time is the same...go figure...lol

i am sailing at 10pm out of san juan on the destiny but i am 'allowed' to board around noon and use the ships offerings (lunch, exploring, making appointments etc...). also, dinner that night is said to be quite casual because most people will not yet have thier luggage from which to change . hope this helps.....you are leaving so soon.....i am both jealous and happy at the same time have a good one.

I don't know if it's common but it sure as hell makes me angry. I feel I'm losing a whole day of my trip...what do you think?

The Inspiration on the 25th is the Inspirations FIRST sailing out of Tampa and is only a six night sailing if I recall. I don't know why it woud leave late unless the Sensation is leaving the same day? Have you called Carnival and asked about the later departure time? I know I would call and ask.
