Carnival ships can offer you the chance for a great cruise experience at a reasonable price. The brand new ships: Legend (8 nights), Pride and Spirit (7 nights) have a lot of variety and good ports of call. Get brochures at a local travel agency, log onto Carnival.com and see what dates and itinerary works for your vacation time. There are some great sales going on right now too. The biggest drawback for a single is the singal occupancy premium. If you can't find a roommate, buy the lowest category that you would be comfortable with or ask them about a Single Share. You could be matched up with the same sex roommate. My son did this on his last cruise and it didn't work out as well as he thought it would. The guy snored like a freight train. The good news was we were on the same sailing and he got to rest in our cabin during the day. It is a great vacation for a single person. When is your school break?
