No, Troy is good from what I have heard but CCL's top CD is John Heald with Cory "the bird man' Schmidt considered #2. Remember this is over all and not what everyone thinks.

Steve Castle is the cruise Director on the Victory right now Salem. He can be a little over the top but he is good. He does do a juggling act one night that you should not miss. He amazed many onboard and got a standing ovation both times we saw him on our back to back in January. Do not miss his juggling act it is well worth seeing.
John Heald is the "BEST" cruise director. I've had the pleasure to sail with him twice and hope to again before he retires. It will be impossible to replace him. If you get the chance to sail with him before Nov. 2003, please do so.
Yes!! He's finishing on the Triumph in April. He will then bring out a new ship , get married, and finish his last contract with Carnival in Nov. That's what we were told las week on the Triumph!!
Does anyone think that Shaun Bussy is in the top two or three. She sure gets my bet as the prettiest cruise director. By the way how many cruise directors are women
I loved Troy Linton on the Imagination 10/00. He and Simon were sooooo funny! I have a great pic of the two of them while we were disembarking. I've only been on 3 cruises, but he was definately one of the best. Where is Troy now?
I didn't care for Troy much when we sailed the Pride last year. He was cordial enough and energetic but he was totally lacking in the organizational department. Many activities were taking place at a different time or place than he reported. Clearing immigration in St. Thomas was a nightmare with a line of people the full length of the ship when he instructed everybody to report to the lounge at 8:30 to make sure you get through the process in time for 9:30 shore excursions. Stuff like that made me think he was not prepared.
Hey , Sooshie just got home from Paridise, that is where Troy Linton is now , and he is Great, very funny and will talk to everyone, he made the cruise very memorable.
