Triumph - are rooms on Upper Deck Loud?

Has anyone stayed on the upper deck on the Triumph? This deck is right above the casinos and clubs - I am concerned about the noise at night. Let me know - thanks.

We were in 6368 and it was really quiet but our friends were in 6374 and they heard the bass guitar until 2:00 am.

Hi,

We were on the verandah deck 8339. Every morning we awoke about 5:30 to the sounds of chairs being moved on the pool deck! YOu really have to be strategic in selecting your room, something I never thought of.

I'm told the colors are very pleasant. Not loud at all.<grin>

My kids were on the upper deck midship and they did not complain of any loud noise. My husband and I on the same deck all the way up front under the captains bridge and we heard loud banging noise all night long. A crewmember told us it was the stabilizers! Whatever it was it was indeed very loud and kept us up all night. We try for the most part to get cabins midship. For one thing it is easier to navigate around the ship in itself.

Thanks for the info.....My wife and I were booked in 6376 for 5/17/03.....I called Carnival and they moved us up to 8B 7376.....My Best friend and his wife are going with us on their 20th Anniversary, also their first cruise. You saved me from a lot of trouble.....
