Sailing from NYC

Hi all,
Anyone sail last minute from NYC? If so, do you remember what price you paid? I am trying to see if we should wait to book. We don't care much about the cabin so we don't care if they shove us in a broom closet and we live within driving distance. Currently prices are about $900pp and I felt that to be kind of high seeing that we paid less than $800pp to sail the Destiny March 16 (including airfare)...and we booked 4 months ago!! Just thought it would always be cheaper if you lived near a port.....

.....by the way, i am interested in the sailings to the carrib. or bermuda....if i want to see new england, i can walk out my front door!!!!

I booked last week on the Carnival Legend leaving NYC on Oct 12th and the price keeps going up!!! Also if you keep waiting, there will probably be no rooms left. There are are filling fast and Carnival says that these shjps are very popular

(Just want to tell you that I got a price quote on a 4a cabin one week and the next week the cruise price went up $90.00!!! This was with my TA) If I would have booked directly with Carnival. it would have been even more.

You won't see any bargains sailing from NYC. The ships always sell very well and in this case I would highly recommend booking early as the prices will only climb.

Many of the NY sailings are already sold out on Legend . Bermuda sailings almost always sell out. Don't wait or you won't be sailing out of NY. Ny sailings are almost never discounted like you see out of Florida and Puerto Rico.
