I have been told by a passenger on the Fascination that on March 13 at about 4:30 in the afternoon 4 people were rescued from a life raft. Does anyone have more specific information? Apparently the cruise line was contacted by the US Coast Guard and asked to pick up the people who were drifting in the ocean. The ship's captain notified the passengers that the ship would be making a series of unscheduled sharp turns in order to better position themselves to pick up the people on the raft. The Coast Guard then met the ship and took the rescued people on board their own vessel and the Fascination continued as scheduled, docking on Friday morning. Kudos to the Captian of the Fascination.
