Best Tours in Grand Cayman & Ocho Rios

Cruising Truimph 4/5-4/12. We will be in Grand Cayman on April 9th and Ocho Rios on April 10th. We know we want to see the Mayan Ruins in Cozumel, but are unsure of what do do in Grand Cayaman and Ocho Rios (we DON'T want to go to Dunns River Falls). Any suggestions?

Our table mates went snorkling in Grand Cayman and did the glass bottom boat in Cozumel and loved both. In Grand Cayman we did the Atlantis Submarine. In out opinion it was not worth the trip. Everything looked like shades of swimming pool blue (like a black and white TV only in blues). They explained that light doesn't penetrate enough at the levels to which they dive for the colors to show well. The only real colors we saw were on the occasional fish that swam right up the the sub. We went shopping in Cozumel. That is supposed to be the best shopping stop. Enjoy your cruise!

In the Caymon's I highly recommend Sting Ray City.

Sting Ray City in Grand Cay. You may want to try the rafting down the Martha Brae River in Ocho Rios.

Hi Fun in the Sun,
When we were in Cozumel we did the Mayan Ruins tour. I have mixed feelings on it. We enjoyed it because it is just mind-boggling when you hear about the technology of this civilization. We were a little disappointed because all the ruins are roped off and you can only get so close, not close enough to look inside. Take a swimsuit because after the tour you can walk down to the beach area and swim for a bit before the tour group leaves out. We were on Royal Caribbean and we docked at Cozumel, took a ferry to the mainland (about 20 minutes in very choppy waters), then a bus ride for almost an hour into what looked like jungles, with what stop at a gift shop that we later found out was about double the prices that people at our dinner table paid at the market on Cozumel. But, all in all, i'm glad we went.
In Grand Cayman, we wanted to do Stingray City and I will next time. We did the island tour, which was the town of Hell (boring but you can mail yourself and others a postcard and it's postmarked from hell, so that was fun to get in the mail), the sea turtle farm (this was fun because you get to see turtles that are up to 300 lbs and you can hold the baby one's, then we went to the rum cake place and bought gifts for people. We only took this tour because on Cozumel with the ruins tour there is no time to shop, if we had done Stingray City we couldn't shop, but with the Island tour we were free to go off on our own. When we go to Caymen we always take a taxi and spend the day at 7 mile beach. No disappointment we have a wonderful time

we will be on the same ship . we have been to cozumel,caymons and ocho about 4 times ,in the caymons if you want the beach go to seven mile beach or if not sting ray city is great. in ocho we always go to the falls and shoping in the straw markets
