Could some of you let me know different places you check the prices of cruises so I can do some comparing, and do you always check for the same accomidations and the same dates when your comparing prices?
Yes, I always compare dates and same catagory cabin when checking prices, only way to do it fairly.
You may want to post in our "Bargain Finder" here at Cruisemates. Be sure to list ships and dates and city you will be flying out of if you want the cruise/air added to the price and availability. Once you post, travel agents will e-mail you with what they have based on the information you provided:
I agree with Donna....that is the only fair way to compare prices. I compared extensively before booking my next cruise. You will be amazed at the difference in prices. Best Price Cruises.com got the nod from me this time.

I picked a particular cruise, ship, cabin and dates then went shopping. I checked almost every web site and a few TA's locally. If you have time, you can even watch that sailing go down in price. I waited and booked our cruise 2 months in advance. It's a gamble if your dates are set in stone. In my case, I could have waited to book until today (we leave Sunday)! There are still available cabins on my ship & they're really dropping in price.
Use the same techinque to search for the flights as well. They don't go down in price but every site seems to have a different price. TIP, don't book your return flight before noon on the day you return. It makes it really tough to catch your flight home.
