Default New Carnival terminal in L.A.

Has anyone experienced the new Carnival terminal in Long Beach? I am going on the PRIDE in Sept. (Mexico Rivera)

I heard if you stay on the Queen Mary you can check in early onto the ship?

I hope the Long Beach terminal is better than the San Pedro. It was horrendous having to wait outside and the line was going all over the place. CCL people yelling all over and trying to organize. It was definately the worst boarding experience yet.

Nushnakka,

A world of difference, I can assure you. Haven't been down to the Long Beach terminal since the ELATION and the ECSTACY were moved there, but the local ABC television station uses as a backdrop on their sunday morning news a bay camera focused on the Queen Mary with the ELATION sitting alongside. Great shot !

The Long Beach terminal is beautiful by comparison to the San Pedro terminal, especially where the grand ole lady is berthed.

That's good to hear Gary because it was the worst embarkation experience I've had thus far. I did not realize CCL moved both their ships to Long Beach. We dropped our rental car there and they shuttled us to San Pedro. We very much liked the Long Beach area and thought that would be a better place to dock from.
