There was a previous post with others going on this ship. we have a group of 19 family and friends going. Do not know much about Belize but we have cruised 5 other times and found that all stops are about the same, the fun is on the ship. Enjoy all you can of the activitys and service thats what we really pay for

Good to know...I've cruised once before and had a great time...looking forward to it again...hope to see you all on board...we have a crew of 10...mom dad aunt uncle and 6 girls ranging from 19 to 27, should be a blast!

Regarding Belize

This third world port is different. First, your tender ride will take about 30 minutes due to the distance from the port and the barrier reef. Please plan some type of tour whether private or from the ship's varied list. If you only take one tour, this is the port to take it. For the young and young at heart, I highly recommend Reggie Trapp (5 yr. private tour operator) for Cave Tubing or a land tour. He and his family present a wonderful overview of their ecologically balanced country. He will make stops and see that his clients have a safe and wonderful time. His cave tubing price is $65pp vs. $85 on our ship (but that includes lunch). The shopping village at the port is nice including a Cigar store and pharmacy .

this tour takes you on a 55min. drive surrounded by beautiful lush tropical forests, until you reach, At the Caves Branch River which winds through the Mayan Mountains, you will hike with your tube for about 35 minutes down a jungle trail. Your guide will point out plants, roots and herbs used by the ancient Maya for medicinal purposes. When you reach the area where the river meanders through an underground cave system, the guide will provide you with a headlight. Hop in your tube and let the slow current take you along past incredible stalactites and stalagmites. On several occasions you will emerge into the sunlight, then re-enter the underground river system. After approximately one hour of tubing, you realize you've reach back where you started so the return hike is not much.
