Port of Long Beach

Can anyone recommend any hotels near the port. Specifically ones that will let you park your car for free while on the cruise. I live in oregon, maybe they don't have that deal in California like we do here. Also does anyone know how much it cost to park you car at the pier when sailing. Thanks for your help. Gina

Ive heard that the long beach sheridon with one nights stay will let you park your car for a week and has a shuttle to the dock.

Good deal but be sure they still do this. Otherwise parking at the pier is $10 per day. Also compare prices. When we were there in Feb we stayed at a Ramada south of LA because the hotels in the Long Beach area were very costly. In fact what we paid for a hotel and then the parking at pier was even cheaper than staying in Long Beach.

I just made reservations at the Sheraton in San Pedro for our Sept cruise. The "park and sail" package was $149 (plus tax) for the room, bottle of wine, breakfast and parking. They said they provide transportation to and from the pier. Sorry, but I don't have their phone number at hand....and it wasn't a toll free number.

We just booked our hotel in San Pedro as well. We are staying at the Best Western and they offer free shuttle as well. We've stayed there before and it is pretty nice. The total cost is $109.00 which includes breakfast and parking.
