Carnival Spirit

Can anyone tell us about the Carnival Spirit, Northbound passage from Vancover to Steward. We are thinking of booking this cruise. With Cat. 8A.

Also info on flights if you booked your own flights or had TA to book and are there airlines shuttles at the port in Seward to take you to Anchorage for you return flight home?

Don't know much on that trip, but we are on our second booking on the Spirit with an 8A guarantee (got upgraded last time to the extended balcony 8's).

Great cabin -- tons of storage. We really loved the ship, too -- going to Acalpulco in October.

We are taking the Northbound tour on the Spirit 8/27. If you book air travel with the cruise, there is a bus shuttle from Seward to Anchorage. It's about 2 - 2.5 hour trip and our friends told us it is a nice, scenic drive. If you book air travel separately, they told us the shuttle is about $75 - that was two years ago and may be different now.
