Default Sensation

My friends are trying to my our family to book on the Sensation July 12. I just returned last night from the Adv. of the Sea out of San Juan. What can I expect on the Sensation. I know it is not like AOS, how is the food and the kids program. My kids (16,17).

Let me know how it is if you go. We are booked for our very first cruise on the Sensation in August. I have three kids. 11,14 and 16. Any and all info would help. thanks.

The Sensation was our 1st cruise and needless to say the most memorable. I think we had the best service and food on her but it has been some years ago. My kids were then 10 & 15 and neither did the Camp Canival. They either hung with us or met some other kids. So to the original poster I don't know that your kids will care for it either. If they are outgoing like my youngest (on her next cruise she was 14) she met others her age and they went to the teen disco or hung out by the pool. My oldest now 21 loves cruisin but finds it boring on the sea days. All he cares about is the ports and the food which BTW he ate his fare worth. Happy sailing!

I didn't so much go for a first cruise aboard Sensation as have an affair--with the ship itself. She set a very high standard for my future cruises. The food was excellent--and I have a rather picky palate. You'll have to ask others about the facilities for kids. The few kids I saw aboard looked like they were having fun. I highly recommend the ship.
