Spirit extended balcony

We just found out we will have 5240 on the upper deck. This is an extended balcony.
Is this a good choice?

We stayed last week in a similar class room on Legend (another Spirit class ship). It was perfectly satisfactory room. Larger balconey lets you stretch your feet out a bit , does not take away from room size. Based on you room number you should be on level 5 virtually midship. What could be bad about that?

Agree, those extended balconies are wonderful. Like PapaBill, we had one on the Legend and loved it.

We had an extended on Spirit last October. If you want a visual, go to my photo gallery that was uploaded in October of 2002 called "Spirit to Mexico". I sopecifically took a pic of the extended balcony.
