Default keys to your room

Does anybody know if your sail and sign card is the key to your room? or do you have a separate key. We have two kids who want to change room and we were wondering about the sail and sign thing?

Hi Anita,
Yes, most newer ships the sign/sail card is also the key to your cabin.

Last year on the Monarch of the Seas we had sail/sign cards and then seperate key cards for our room. It was kind of a pain carrying around all these cards...cause as the Mom you wind up holding on to everyones.

Yes, your Sign & Sail card is your room key. The card has your name on it but not your room number which is good in case your kids lose their key like my son did.

I was on Sensation in February. The Sign and Sail and room key were separate cards. It may be different on other ships.

Sensation, separate. Triumph, same. Elation, same. RCCL EOS, same. Fantasy, can't remember. It depends on your ship but most are one and the same.

Just got off the Celebration. You have a sail and sign card and a separate room key.
